Ava Kingdom's
Royal Angel Weights
Pyinsa Rupa "The Animal of Five Beauties"
U Chit Sein explained,
The 4th king of Ava was named First Minkhaung. He reigned in the Burmese year 753 to 783. Ava already had peace because the kingdom was strong. The king was fearless and understood how to fight and protect the kingdom. First Minkhaung ruled Ava different than his father King Swa Saw Ke. He did not require five points for weight like his father, he only cared that Angel Weights are beautiful and show strength and power.
During one night an angel came in a dream to King First Minkhaung and he saw an Angel go and sit inside the sun. After the king woke up he called one of his royal advisers to go find his royal Parawhate pongnar (Holy Man-Astrologist) from India who knows about dreams and the future. The king wanting to know the meaning of his dream and why the Angel went inside the sun in his dream. The Parawhate Pongnar said, if King sees an Angel go to sit inside the sun is very good luck for the future. He predicted during King Minkhaung reign of Ava the kingdom will experience many types of enemies, but Ava can conquer and prevail because of the many heroes in the kingdom. He explained the angel came in his dream to the king, because it represents a very special powerful symbol, with a special purpose, it will bring very good fortune and protection for the Ava kingdom. After King Minkhaung heard his royal Parawhate Pongnar, it was believed an Angel brought the mark to protect Ava Kingdom. The king proclaimed it the "hero" mark.
King First Minkhaung declared to the peoples of Ava the Angel revealed a mark that would bring strength and protection to all of Ava peoples and kingdom. Then king decreed all people will have the hero mark tattooed on their right shoulder to show unity and devotion, every one a protector of Ava. The mark each wore would protected them and the kingdom making them all heroes. King First Minkhaung then decreed Ava must use the hero mark for all Angel Weights during his reign, also, proclaiming the mark to be illustrated upon all building ect. Angel Weights made and used during 2nd king Swa Saw Ke and during 3rd King Sin Phyu Shin Tarabya were put in the royal chamber to protect.
King First Minkhaung father was King Swa Saw Ke, he respected and loved his father and believed all Angel Weights were important, however realized an angel came in his dream to bring about the "hero mark" the symbol currently necessary for the kingdom's well being and strength. King First Minkhaung decreed all the Angel Weights from his father King Swa Saw Ke reign to keep safe in the royal chamber. The King only kept some Seven Angel Weights for royal doctors to use for royal family and chose other Royal Weights to use in the palace.
During the King First Minkhaung period, royal "Pyin Yarshis" made many Angel Weights which all had the hero mark, so people never forget that angels always bring good luck and protect Ava. On one unusual occasion, presented to King First Minkhaung was a symbolic weight having the characteristics of five Angels animals, a lion, elephant, deer, horse, and fish. King First Minkhaung asked why five angel animals together? The "gifter" explained all five angels can be one, so more strong and capable possessing all the influences of all five angels are combined.
The "gifter" told the King, Angel Lion (head) roar is loud and teeth dangerous it's face get respect like king, meaning is even if he not fight yet people are afraid. Angel Elephant (trunk) has power can do anything difficult. Flying Angel Horse can run on the ground and fly (wings) in sky. The beautiful Angel Deer (horns) are like many swords for fighting, and Angel Fish (tail) even water cannot stop. The "gifter" explained all five golden Angel Animals in one weight can always win. The meaning is all five Angels together is one, so win every time, just like people of Ava, together never afraid and they fight as one and the Angels will give every way to always win.
King first Minkhaung believed the Angel that showed him his dream was also involved bringing to him the Five Angel Weight. King First Minkhaung commanded his royal "Pyin Yarshis" to make more five Angel Hero Weights for Ava kingdom bearing the symbolic mark of the "hero". King First Minkhaung used a scale tree with a five Angel Hero Weight on one side and gold and jewels on other side, when scales balanced he would give the five Angel Hero Weight and treasures to Ava hero who won wars. If King presents this five Angel Weight to a hero this way, the Angel Weight is a sign they can visit the king anytime in the royal palace as a special hero of Ava Kingdom.
Pyinsa RupaThis Angel is now known in Burmese folklore and astrology as the Pyinsarupa or “Animal of Five Beauties.” It’s the vehicle of the planet Ketu (Kate), which is known for being the most powerful of planets, also invisible, and perhaps most influential.
